• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

My computer originally had windows xp home edition. My computer would not boot. So i installed Windows Xp Professional as a repair install. I thought I would be able to access all of my old information. That happens to be only half true. I can access one of the accounts on my computer from before (a limited family account) via command prompt. However i can not access my administrator account which has all my files.

Here's and example of what i mean. I can access my old family account, but not my old Admin account. I blurred out some information for security reasons.

So i really would like to have some of the data on my admin account back. Can somebody help me out here?

So the problem is you cannot get to the Administrator data due to security restrictions?

Does the Administrator account exist, or not?

If not, you can create it with some bootable media. I'll try finding the program I use to do this...

Edit- What is the name of the admin account? XP Home, by default, doesn't even set a password on the Administrator account (it is hidden, rather). So you may try booting into safe mode and accessing the Administrator account that way.

Well before i installed xp pro, i made two accounts. I named one Admin, and the other Family.

The "Admin" account as i named it, had administrative powers and was password protected. The "Family" account was limited and password protected. The only way i can get to these accounts now, is through command prompt. I can only seem access the old family account. I know all my data is still there, due to the fact i have over 70gb of hard drive space used up. So what i need to do, is access my account that i named "Admin".
