I am running the computer in my sig with stock HSF on the cpu and 5-80mm fans (3 in, 2 out) in the case. I ran Prime95 for an hour and and memtest to 800% and under load my cpu temp leveled off and stayed at 55C and the case was at about 45C. At idle it runs 30-33C cpu, ~35C case. Temp readings were on motherboard monitor. My system is overcloceked at 7% above stock using my board's "Dynamic Overclock Technology (D.O.T)". Are these temps o.k.?

An A64 3200+ is running 30C at idle with stock cooling?

Unless Motherboard Monitor is lying to me, thats what it is. I've seen it as low as 28 and high as 35 at idle. Normally around 30.

he may have bought the retail version of the chip and therefor consider the HSF as freethenerd said:^ if ur talking aobout stock ones, they are not free obviously... amd isn't stupid.
