Accelero S1 goodness

I bought this for my 7900gs too see about some overclocking until I get a 8800gt or even a 3870. I though this thing was big, but dam, its HUGE! I also put some epoxy on the little heatsinks for the memory(arctic silver epoxy). I also have a 120mm fan blowing across the HS at a 45 degree angle so it blows towards the rear. Temp idle is 42.
The games coming out seem hungry for power and going to SLI/crossfire seems like a good solution. Will the accelero fit in a sli configuration? Wondering if anybody has em on both cards.(8800gt's)

Why take them off? They will be staying with the card. They are cheap to buy($10).

yes, you can run the acceleros with an SLI set-up. My 7800GTs w/ acceleros are SLI'd. You need the extra long SLI cable (can purchase from arctic cooling, or on ebay, it's the long Asus cable) or some people have bent or cut the fins and put the cable through.

Well, if you want to buy more that's cool.. though it will make RMA'ing the card difficult if you ever need to.
