AC Aquastream Question

If I want to use the AC Aquastream Pump, then do I need an Aquaero? I just want to get an Aquabay, the Aquatube, and the previosly mentioned pump, and not have to deal with an Aquaero.

Edit: I plan on mounting my pump on the back of the Aquabay, what fittings will I need to order with the Aquabay and the pump? Sharka suggests one straight and one 90*, but I am unsure of what to do with the Aquatube.
 
Personally, I'm using an aquaero without an aquastream and it rocks. I'd get the aquaero before the 'stream. Just my $.02.
 
I am using the Aquastream because it doesnt require a wall socket, it runs off the PSU. I just need to know if requires an Aquaero. Also, I am unsure of the fittings the Aquabay needs when I mount the pump on the back of the Aquabay.
 
You do not need an Aquaero in order for the AquaStream to work. But if used together you can control the AquaStream, but it'll work just fine, Aquaero not necessary.
 
thanks, Question 1 was answered...and so what fittings should I use on the Aquatube when I mount the pump 0on the Aquabay? I am using a straight and a 90* bend on the pump because this is what Sharka recommends, but am unsure about the Aquatube. Thanks!
 
I actually used 2 90 degree elbows on the Aquatube itself and another then a 90 plug and cool to plug and cool fitting to get around the pump. The AquaStream gets in the way so you have to make an "S" type routing of the tubing. Although you could just use a 90 and send the tubing below or above the pump, but I wanted to go straight back.

You actually will need two 90's for the input from the aquatube to the pump and then a 90 for the incoming to the aquatube as it enters what would be the bottom of the aquatube.
