I've heard people say that the logitech momo dealie is really nice, and i've also heard some nice things about the microsoft wheels, but their website does not seem to exist anymore.

the other thing that surprises me is, only $100 max for this stuff? Did it really just get this cheap since i last looked (prolly a couple of years now that i think about it), or is there a higher tier of nice ass wheels for more money?... 21st bday is coming up and i'm pretty hooked on Toca 3 right now so that would be sweet.

i want something that feels real, or as real as they come. :)

thanks, Kurt

wow well thats certianly another price tier

that looks like some good stuff, but definately too expensive. Good Find.

i'm still so surpriused that its only $100 to get the good shit, yay!

I really like my Act Labs Force RS, but the company hasn't been selling any wheel/pedal systems for a while. Fortunately, their website mentions a newly designed set coming soon.

My wheel is just collecting dust though... last racing game I played was NFS: Hot Pursuit 2. Games that are somewhat similar are scarce, and I haven't really cared for any of the demos I've tried.

logitch momo ftw

i own one and love it. great driving feel and it is very comfortable.

I used the Microsoft Force Feedback in the days of the Nascar Racing series from Papyrus. It worked well for me, but the last game was season 2003 I think and I stopped playing. That series was one of the best racing sims, that and GranPrix Legends.

The supposedly best wheel is still vaporware... BRD Force feedback. That goes for I think 1500$ at least...

It doesn't have Force Feedback :(
The largest downside with the DFP is the pedals. However, you can use the ECCI pedals with the Driving Force Pro. Only downside is that the pedals are $400. So you get the force feedback (and great wheel with the DFP) and what looks to be the best gaming pedals ever.

Maybe with the next Gran Turismo, Logitech will come out with a pedal set that changes the sensitivity and pressure for every car in the game. One can hope can't they?

No because that stuff costs money and average joe don´t want to shell out 350$... That is what it costs to get all metal pedals like Frex, ECCI that feels more like real pedals and is customizable. The Frex isn´t really plug and play either even though you can buy it preassembled. But the thing with these is they are so customizable. Not only stiffness, but travel length while still getting full pot movement... Spacing etc.
