So, I bought it yesterday, 100 dollars off, been doing alot of searching about it, and all I see is everybody going

"WTF ITS A LIAN LI!!! AHHH WHAT IS THAT!! NOTHING IS DIFFARANT! RAWWWRRRR"

While it is a rebranded lian li, it does have some modifications, like 3 140MM fans in the front, instead of 2 120's like the lian li, and one 140 in the back, the Li having just the 1 120. While thats not really the point of this thread, I was just wondering if anyone else has this case, and what they think of it, yea, it was expensive, but I did atleast get 100 bucks off, and it certainly seems like a nice case, plenty of room, and air flow, and nice features.

Any feed back? To make me feel good about my decision? And yes, I KNOW it was expensive, so if that is the only response someone wants to give for it being a bad buy, I could do without that.

Thanks!

I think you may have confused this case as a rebadged X500 when it really is a X2000 which has everything you stated (3x140mm front fans, etc).

From Lian Li:
System Fan (Front) 3 x 140mm Ball Bearing Fan ( 800-980-1200RPM, factory set to mid speed)
System Fan (Rear) 1 x 140mm Ball Bearing Fan( 800-980-1200RPM, factory set to mid speed); 2 x 80mm Ball Bear Fan ( 1500 RPM)

You can clearly see the 3 140mm fans in the front.

Indeed you can, let me try and find the one I was looking at that showed two 120's, will take me a minute, as I may have the worst internet connection on this entire forum, in this particulair location.

yes its a Lian Li x5000 case.

do you plan to water cool it? I was SOOO set on this case for my i7 build but have been changing my mind as of late. I dont think that my watercooling setup will fit in it like I want.

Ironically enough, almost immediatly after my last post, we lost network connection.

Anyway, I saw a picture in a forum discussing the 695, that showed it compared to a Lian Li, that had TWO 120's, in the front, with a gap inbetween them, and a 120 in the back. obviously it is not the 2000. What could it have been?

And no plans to watercool in the short term, but deffinatly thinking about it in the mid to long term. I to am going I7. I read some posts mentioning room to place a radiator at the front of the case, but I cant speak to the truth of that. I wont be able to physically inspect it for another 4 months. I just bought it now because the instant rebate on it.

Anyone have any experience with this case?

Like I said, it was the X500 which is the X2000's little brother with 120mm fans.

I recall there being a few folks here that had your case/X2000 that probably posted their rigs in the Lian Li gallery in Case mods (I recalled a specific rig with a smoked window). Run a quick search and there should be some hits.

ahh, gotcha. Will try that, I have been trying to stay out of the gallery though, it would take an hour to load a full page, heh.
