Hi all,

I was wondering and finding it difficult to locate information.

is the 7600gt comparible to the x850xt pe saphire graphics card.
reason being i am going dual core and well my money is being sucked up by that....

7600gt = leaner, newer, more features

However so drawback;
The x850xt pe is 256bit, so at high resolution/aa its going to perform better, and the raw power of the x850xt pe will exceed a stock 7600gt. But note it will also run hotter and runs on a dual slot cooling

well i currently have the x850xt pe video card. and even when i crank it to max aa and af ( leave these cranked untill i hit a slow down...) and my max res is 1024X768.. the fan doesnt even kick high gear... even when the ambient is 38 degrees. and yes i oc the card as well.

x850xt pe is still an amazing card...i can play most games at 1280x0124 with aa/af...and the max mine goes to is 68 gegrees even when oc'ed...id say its quicker than the 7600gt

note: this isnt bias becuase i have 2 7900gtxs

The 7600GT was released primarily to compete with the sub-$200 X850XTs that were coming out, so yes. They are very comparable cards.
