Thanks

Yeah thanks for the suggestion, I''m going to go with the Abit now. I also changed the zalman to a tuniq tower 120, and the 500gb hd to seagates .10 series instead, less problems I hear.

Cool beans. I have the 9500, and aside from being quiet on low, I am not impressed. I think you will be happier with the Tuniq or a Thermalright 120, so go for it!

I might steer away from that PSU, as it has some issues with out of spec ripple on high loads (it's voltage fluctates outside of the acceptable ATX bounds). This can lead to damage on your components possibly. You could very well never run into an issue as well though, but I'd personally go with another unit. Popular choices around here are the Corsair HX/VX lines.

What monitor are you planning to use and what are your main uses (gaming? photohsop? general usage?) What features do you need on the Gigabyte DS4/Abit IP35-Pro that are leading you toward purchasing them? Do you need both RAID and Firewire? Or is there something else? There are possibly cheaper alternatives if you want to save some money, depending on what features you need.

What series of seagates were you thinking of purchasing originally? The .10 is certainly a reliable series, so no issues with going with them. I'm a bit curious at the 250 drive paired up with the 500 though, what's your reasoning there?

You swapped out the Zalman 9500 for the Tuniq which is fine. It's a good cooler and as long as you are ok with its size there is no issues there. If you wanted comparable cooling ability at a smaller size, consider the Thermalright Ultima 90 with your choice of 92mm fan. It comes out a bit more than the Tuniq but it is quite a bit smaller if you use a 92mm fan with it (it works with 120mm fans too but it negates some of the size advantage).

Other than that the build looks pretty solid to me.
