Scythe SY1225SL12H 120mm Case Fan - Retail

Here is my airflow plan.

1)Replace stock Rear Exhaust fan with Silverstone FM121

2) Replace the stock side panel fan with a Thermaltake Blue LED and then put a second Thermaltake Blue LED in the empty side panel fan space.

3) Take the two stock fans and put them at the top of the case in the two top 120mm fan spaces

4) Put the scythe fan in the fan space to the right of the PSU.

5) Keep the stock fan behind the HDD cage

The Fan to the right of the PSU will be intake and push air Up.
The top right fan will be intake and push air down so the air of the bottom fan by the psu will meet in the middle and the side panel fans will suck the air out.

The top left fan and rear fan will be exhaust. I will lave that fan thats behind the hd cage at whatever it comes like.

All of that for a total of 7 120mm Fans

I was originally looking at that fan from newegg for my new CM stacker 830, but i elected to go with these instead.

i know the thermaltakes push a lot more air than these do, but if you are putting 2 or more of these fans in, they will move the same amount of air but with less noise. plus you get 2 per pack, essentially $5 each. it sounded like a good deal to me, so i am putting 4 in the side door of my new case. i also like the fact that it has the 3-pin fan plug for the motherboard, as opposed to running a molex connector down to the side door, which i wanted to avoid since i dont use any molex connectors (all sata everything)

id arther get thermaltake

If you have a Microcenter near you, you can get the CM 690 for $20 after MIR and I think $60 before MIR. Either way it would be cheaper than Newegg.

Def. go to microcenter if you can the rebate will take 2 months but you will end up paying $20 for the case. I have one and I'm generally happy with it.

for the fans, Noctua if you want to spend money. Otherwise these.
