About to buy this Shuttle system

Would I see a significant increase in performance with a Radeon 9800PRO? Whats a good mousepad? ...Ratzpad / func? Anycomments or problems?
 
You will be happier with the 9800pro, but, if money is tight....

I would ditch that sata drive and get a wd drive.

Otherwise, it is not bad..
 
if your going to get another HDD (which is not needed BTW) get a Seagate, WD have not impressed me reliability wise.

The 9800 pro will be a lot better IMO then that (especially with AA & AF turned on)

As far as mouse pads go I'm soon going to try the Xtrac (the model is pro Hs... or someting along those lines)

Ratpads and func seem like they wear out way too quick for my liking.
 
The 9800 pro would be hugely better, at least get a 9600 pro/xt, or if you want nvidia 5700 ultra, or an overclockable 5900. And uh I don't think the Zalman's gonna fit in a shuttle, it has a proprietary heatsink and you want to use it.
