So i feel its time to get a new CPU...my mobo can take these kinds of cpu :
CPU/Processor
* Socket: 775
* Supports the following processors:
o Pentium D 900 series Dual Core (Presler)
o Pentium D 800 series Dual Core (Smithfield)
o Pentium 4 500 (Prescott)
o Pentium 4 600 (Prescott)
o Celeron D (Prescott)
o Celeron D (Cedar Mill)
So i was thinking about getting a Dual Core, i noticed that the 900 series is about twice as much as teh 800 series (in terms of $)
Currently, i have a P4 3.2 (OC'ed to 4.0Ghz) , and i was wondering if the 800 series would show a vast improvement compared to my P4.
I was thinking about buying either this : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819116213
or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819116253
