I've been looking at the IC7-G and the IC7 Max3. Is the IC7-G the next revision of the Max 3? They appear very similar except for the active cooling of the MOSFET on the Max 3. The IC7-G can be had for about $40 less. Which is better? Do they both OC about the same?

The IC7 Max3 is the top of the line.
The IC7 G is next[lower] in price and features.
The IC7 is the least expensive of the 3.
The IC7-G used to be called the "Max2"
Plain IC7 doesn't have onboard LAN like the "G" does.
Overclocking potential is greater theoreticaly with the Max3's OTES system and it might have higher ddr voltage setting than the 'G' or IC7's.
I've got the plain IC7 as I had nic's laying around and I'm very happy with it.
The 'G" is not the next revision of the MAX 3.

abit isnt making ic7-max3's anymore because of the vtt tracking problem.

So is the IC7-G a good mobo? Will it OC like the Max3? Does the IC7-G have the same problem with the vtt since it appears to be almost the same board? About the only difference I see between the 2 is the lack of a couple SATA ports on the IC7-G.
