Abit NF7-S onboard SATA?

Hey, I have an Abit NF7-S rev 2.0, i'm wondering if I get a 36GB Raptor will my onboard SATA controller be good enough? I've heard that the onboard controller on the Abit NF7-S isn't all that good. Would buying a new controller card justify the price by its enhanced speed, if any.

I have been using the onboard Sata for over a year in a raid and have no problems.
Dont think there is any need to get a add on card.
Just get the newest sata driver for the board 1.0.0.51 and put it on a floppy.
