Abit Max III Question

Hi,

Well, I currently have a plain Abit ic7 motherboard. However, I just purchased a gig of Mushkin lvl2 pc3500, and while its bad (about to be sent out for RMA) I am looking foward to overclocking it to the max.

Now here's my dilemma. I have a 2.4c that will do 3.5ghz stable on air, and boots into windows but is unstable at 3.6. I have half my watercooling right now, and in a month, or whenever I get my Cascade block, I will have a top of the line wc'ing setup. That should get me 3.6 stable at least. Now you know that if I want good memory scores, I need to stay at the 5/4 divider, which will require ram that will do 480mhz. I also want timings no greater than 2-3-2-5. So now to the max3 question...have the memory voltage instabilities above 2.8v been remedied, or are they still no good?

I am looking to push 3.2v through these babies and hoping to hit 480mhz+ with 2-3-2-5 timings. That would give me a hell of a machine. Buying tha max3 would also allow me to get rid of this adaptec raid card, and it just seems less buggy than the ic7, which has tons of memory issues, but I WONT buy it unless the vdimm issues have been resolved. Could anybody with experience with this board chime in and tell me what you think? Any help is greatly appreciated.
