Hey guys,

Got a question. My setup just started beeping like crazy. It is coming from the motherboard which is an ABIT IC7. I know this because I unplugged the Speaker cable from the case and it is now not beeping. However, the beeps are constant.

Checked the manual but nothing.

Any ideas?

Had this issue when I overclocked mine too high.

Have to hard boot 3 times (once the beeping starts) and then it lets you into the bios.

yeah..mine did the same when i tried pushing it too far...taking out the cmos battery (vs just switching jumpers) fixed it

It has been running fine for 1 year. Just started happening last night.

O yea, no new hardware changes.

Ran HOT CPU BURN IN and everthing checks out fine.

Change cooling setup lately? New HS or soemthing? its possible its the 'no fan' warning beep.

That is the weird thing, no new hardware changes or even software. Nothing at all. Been the same setup even Bios setting for 1 year.

check the PWM temperature and warning temp in BIOS. If you raise the warning temp it may go away.
