Abit AW9D-MAX Intel 975X OR Asus P5K-Premium

I have recently decided to change my mother board choice due to some bad things i have heard about the DS3R on other forums so i decided to search again and iev came up with 2 mobo's, thye are both sub£120 on http://www.advancetec.co.uk/ but the abit sports the old flagship chipset 975X whereas the Asus has the "new" P35

So therefore my question is which one should i get and would the abit board work with a E8400 (WHICH ONE IS BETTER??)

the standard AW9D is £69 over the weekend at SCAN on their Today Only offers.
There is E8xx support for the AW9D & 975X is still the fastest chipset clock for clock but it won't overclock to as high an fsb as a P35.

Depending upon your feature requirements the abit IP35 is £57 & the IP35 Pro is £94 over the weekend at SCAN on their Today Only offers.
If you don't need Crossfire (& the fact that you have a DS3R says that you don't) & all the bells & whistles on the Pro then the IP35 at £57 is a bargain.
