Anyone have any experience with Abee cases? Afaik, they are only available in Japan but I have seen them for sale @ amazon.co.jp. I was curious if the build quality was worth the hype, and if so... if I were to try to purchase one at amazon.co.jp, do they ship to the USA?

I have also been interested in the Abee cases ... then my wife got very sick and i have had to abandon such indulgences for now..

however at the time i thought I might be able to order I too had the brilliant idea of ordering from Amazon Japan... but i'm pretty sure they won't ship something like a pc case to the US

which would leave you the option of using a service like this

http://www.tenso.com/en/

the case would ship to them and they would then forward it to you in America (for a fee fairly large fee)

for example I was just looking at the Abee smart J02 (19,300~ yen or about $200~ish)

the fee calc for tenso put their fee at 11,580 yen putting the total around $327 (not counting taxes from the amazon order and of course any customs fees.

since my wife is now recovering well...if you decide to proceed on trying to get one shipped from Japan ..by all means let me know how it works out for you.

sadly i have never had my hands on one of these cases in person so I can't speak to if they live up to the hype in person question... but it would be kinda kewl to have a case that almost nobody else (here anyways) has.
