Okay, i got my free song from itunes (pepsi contest) and it is in the stupid aac/m4p format. I do not want to listen to it on itunes and i cannot even burn it. Is there a program that will allow me to convert it to an MP3? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Yes.
You can play the song fine in winamp or foobar2000. Winamp may require a plugin if you have an older or stripped down version.
I'd recommend not transcoding it to mp3 since it is already a lossy encode, at 128kbps no less. The winamp diskwriter will let you convert it into a wav file, or you could use dbpoweramp music converter, which will also transcode it into anything you want.
