AA8-DuraMax and RAID setup question

Greetings...

I told my nephew to get the ASUS mb, but he didn't listen and got the ABIT :eek:

HW: AA8-DuraMax, Raptors, P4 3.0Ghz, Corsair TwinX

I'm trying to get him setup to run a RAID 0 array with the standard mb equipment along with two (2) 36Gb Raptors. So far we have:

Checked and rechecked all the hardware. The Corsair memory had to be sent back and got new stuff and it will now boot into the bios. I talked him through flashing the BIOS to the latest version 17.

Now we just need to know how to set up the BIOS so the RAID functions are available. The manual was a joke! Absolutely zip on how to set up the arcane English words they use...

Does ABIT supposed to have a RAID BIOS setup utility like the Silicon Image chip or is this all in the BIOS setup?

Any help appreciated :)


Edit: ABIT and their tech support totally &$!* This board has gone bye-bye. Nephew just picked up an ASUS P5AD2-E Premium. I offered to use it for target practice ;-) but when it gets back from being RMA'd it will see eBay :)))
