AA With 7900gt

[cthulhuiscool]

For some reason my 7900gt can only support up to 4x AA. Is this normal or not, is there anyway to fix this?

Have you tried updating drivers? Maybe its a setting in the nVidia control panel?

7900's support

2XAA/4XAA/8XS

ati does 6X

8 series does 16XQAA

download rivatuner and use it's openGL modifiaction settings in there.

I believe it should do
2x
2xQ
4x
4xS
6xS
8x
8xS
16x

I haven't used a 7 series card in a while though so i might be slightly off

normally you could get up to 8xS AA via nvidia control panel or otherwise you're using in-game setting?
