A8V/M2N32 - nForce Chipset cooler?

Hi guys.

I have an ASUS M2N32SLI-Deluxe which I'm watercooling. I won't go into specifics of that, but I will say that I have a LianLi PC-V1000B case, which means that my motherboard is mounted up-side-down. Needless to say, this effectively nullifies the heatpipe cooling solution for the chipset and mosfets on the board.

My Southbridge is rather warm, almost hot to the touch when idleing. I'd really like to put a new cooler on the chipset as the chipset is the hottest piece of equipment in my system and is heating the case up.

To give you an idea, I have about 78-80 deg F ambient air, my CPU (Athlon64 X2 5000+) is running at ~30 deg F while the chipset is at 43 def F.

So, I'd like to know what people suggest I do to cool my chipset. Bear in mind, if I remove the current heatpipe cooler (which Id what I'm suspecting will happen) I need to find not only coolers for the NB and SB, but the 2 rows of mosfets as well.

Thanks guys.

orientation doesnt matter to the heatpipes on your motherboard.

the chipset jsut gets hot is all, as is expected from the nforce5 chipset. you shoudl try getting a fan in the area, whether directly on the fins at the end of the pipes or even over the chipset area, cool down everything.
