A8V-E SE Support Opteron?

Hartz · May 5, 2006

I have little doubt that it does not considering that the opterons are just like the FX's or 64's but on the Asus site http://usa.asus.com/products4.aspx?l1=3&l2=15&l3=143&model=576&modelmenu=1 they don't mention support. And in some other forum, some guy said that the VIA KT800 does not support opterons.

I'm about for a single core AMD 64 Opteron 144.

Opteron will work on this motherboard.

should work fine, though it might require a bios flash.
