Hello,
Im trying to watercool a X2 3800 in a A8V Deluxe board. I have a Apogee and a Maze-4
Chipset cooler with a Black Ice Pro II XFlow radiator and a D5 pump. After trying to test for leaks and seeing that I will have to do some mods to the case I tried to fit the blocks on to see if it would clear and how much I would have to cut of the tubing I ran into a problem. the problem is the Chipset cooler will not fit. I have ordered the standard and the SLI version of this block and it will not fit as there is always a capacitor in the way. so Im faced with 2 choices
1) find a Waterblock that will work with this board
2) replace the previous Heatsink and place the Maze on top of it.
both I dont want as Ive sunk $70 into this part as it is and I don't think that stacking a
copper Waterblock on an aluminum Heatsink is a good Idea but I don't seem to have much
an option. has anyone ever worked with this board?
