A8N SLI Premium sound

I haven't set it all up yet, but i was wondering how bad the onboard sound was.
If i can i was thinking about skipping out on the sound card this time. I know sound cards are nicer and save CPU cycles, but honestly i'm not really too worried about it at this point.

What does everyone think, is it good enough?

My deluxe has pretty decent sound. Just make sure that you install the nVidia sound drivers (the one on the asus site is kinda crappy imo).

Just keep in mind...you could get an x-fi card, or you could go cheaper and get the Audigy 2 ZS Gamer, which comes with 5 games...for only 100$...i still think that deal rocks..

i have a sound card in my other computer, but i'm running to space problems, and i want to use my front panel audio. Onboard sound seems to be the way to do this without fucking around with creative non standard pins.
