A8N-SLI Fan Replacement

Hi,
I need some advice on a chipset replacement for my A8N-SLi....
I have read all the threads on it, however my situation is a little different, as both of my cards have arctic cooling nv5 coolers i.e. big.
Also, I have a thermalright xp-120... i.e. big. though this will not change the chipset fan placement, I thought that I should just put it in to bear in mind.... therefore, with these two fans, what should I do as a replacement for my very noisy chipset fan?
I have heard that it is glued to the chipset and the pin placement is abnormal....
I have also heard that the vantec chipset fan is quite good.... essentially I need a low profile chipset replacement, and a walkthrough on how to put it in on what is apparently a quite ungainly chipset....
Thanks very much
f
