A8N-SLI Deluxe Problem

I'm trying to overclock my rig but I'm running into a problem.
I have AMD 64 3000 and Corsair Value Select 2x512.
My problem is that when I set the mem divider to ddr333 it wont go over 230 fsb, but when i set it to ddr266 it'll hit 285 no problem. My bios is 1008, im not exactly sure whats wrong because 230 with the divider ddr333 is below 200 mhz for the memory.

I am currently having a similar problem. However I can't test your exact scenario because my ram will not go over 220mhz.

OK i figured out that i had a bad stick of ram. Now that i took out the bad stick i can hit over 285 so ima see what more overclocking I can do after i get some better ram.

Doesn't sound necessarily sound like a bad stick. Just a stick with different limits than the other stick.
