Im having a problem with the new A8N-SLI deluxe motherboard.. everything boots after i removed 1 stick of ram (it seems to be a problem) but there is no image on the moniter although it does not say no input signal as it would if i had the moniter cable unplugged

my question is ... what would be the problem the motherboard or the video card it says there is no error though the like asus verbal thing but i dont know what the problem is please help

Parts:
asus A8N-SLI deluxe Motherboard
corsair xms RAM (2x1gig)
80 gig western digital harddrive
amd 3500+ CPU
EVGA 6600 gt video card

So as in "it boots fine after removing one stick of ram". Does that mean you get a post and a display? What's different when you leave both sticks in?

Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe boards come doa for many. Mine was doa the first time. If there are no beeps, no post, and the pc just sits there spinning the fans and the on light is on, it's safe to say that it's the motherboard. You may have to rma it as I did.
An Asus A8N-SLI will also show those systems when the cmos battery is not in place and/or not connected properly. I cleared the cmos on my board once and it gave those systems. A week later while I was waiting on a new bios chip, I decided to re-bend the cmos battery connector pins so they touched the battery and not each-other. The board then booted.

no when i said it boots fine after i remove 1 stick of ram it means the voacl problem thing doesnt say anything but still does not have any image.

im kind of mad with asus's RMA department seeing as they lost my last motherboard i have sent to them but i should have another motherboard coming in the mail soon

Unplug computer from mains, clear the CMOS memory by switching the jumper on the mobo wait for a min or so the switch back and boot.

*Warning* > Bios will reset wiping up any overclock and voltage changes!
