I have 2x512 corsair 3200XL rated at 2-2-2-5 at FSB=200mhz and a AMD64 3200 (Venice)
I've found that I can't really bring the FSB higher than ~235mhz. I suspect that I need to increase my ram speed but the freaking motherboard has increments of 66mhz! WTF? So right now it's at 200@1.75V (though it runs at 1.60V just fine), i can bring it to 266 and maintain stability, but after that, no dice. I've tried increasing voltage and loosening ram timings, but nothing has worked. I'm trying to hit 3.0 ghz but i'm stuck at 2.35! Ive read several articles talking about this processor reaching 2.8 on stock cooling and I have moderate-high flow watercooling, so I should be able to hit my target. What am I missing here?
