Ok Im a little new to OC'ing memory, and the problem Im having is as far as i can tell there isn't a memory divider setting on this motherboard. Right now ive got the CPU to 2400mhz stable (prime for 8 hours and superpi at 32m). But the only way I was able to do this is to drop the memory speed to 333mhz, and change the HTT to 4 (which Im not sure I should or should not be doing). Ive got no name memory DDR3200.
Now if Ive dropped the memory to 333, then I run cpu-z and it shows it is running at 200 with the OC, does this mean the memory is actually at stock now?
The computer is an Opty 146, Asus A8N-E, EVGA G-Force 6800GT with an Arctic Freezer 64 Pro. Oh and my temps are sitting at 31idle and 39 load.

When you dropped the RAM to 333 you were setting the memory divider. They don't really tell you, but they mean 333 if your HT bus is at 400. As you increase the bus, the memory speed will also increase. So yes, with your OC your RAM is now at stock. Dropping the HTT multi to 4 is pretty much required, as you want to keep your HT frequency around 1000Mhz. Once you pass 250Mhz, you'll probably want to reduce it to 3.

Please keep in mind that it's late, and thus you may need to substitute some of the technical terms that I might have mixed up ;)

Thanks, I was thinking that was what it was, but wasn't absolutely sure.
Ive just bumped it to 2550, and am about to run superpi and see what happens.
Can anyone explain the Hyper transport to me?
