The A8N motherboard has a black bracket with a metal backplate, as most of you know. I'm wondering if I should remove that attachment before I attach the Danger Den TBX waterblock, or if it should be used. Thanks.

Yes, that bracket should be removed for the block to properly contact the cpu.

Alright, thanks a lot. I was worried that it was going to crush the cpu, but I suppose that's what the springs are for. Thanks bud

I'm still having issues with mounting the TBX. Danger Den only gave me 4 washes, 2 nuts, 2 springs and 2 thumbscrews, and I'm really not finding a way to do this. Has anyone mounted The TBX with those supplies?

Checkout dangerden's website there should be an editorial there that shows u how it should go on but basicly leave the backplate there put the bolts through the holes were the screws went for the black bracket. Put the nuts on the backplate side(the back of the board) then stick the block on there then a washer on both bolts then the springs then another washer then the thumb screws.
