A7N8X - XP2700+ reporting as 1500+

I've just flashed the bios (1007) on my A7N8X (revision 1.04) and my XP2700+ keeps reporting as a 1500+. FSB is 166 and stepping is 13.
 
Download CPU Z or CPU ID and once you're in Windows see what it's reporting as. It could be that your motherboard just isn't reporting it correctly and you don't have to worry about it. Otherwise, you should see if you're saving your CMOS settings correctly. When does your system report the 1500+? As you boot up, in Windows?
 
Your mobo might not be supporting the 13th multiplier correctly (it will thus default lower). What happens when you set the multi to 12?

Damn, I have the same board basically, I should know that. Your board only goes up to 12.5
 
Thanks for the replies. The FSB was stuck at 100 as reported in Windows, even though the BIOS was showing 166. Flashing to 1008 (which has an older date than 1007 - weird) fixed it.
