A64 in SFF?

I'm strongly considering building an SFF in the next couple of weeks, and am wondering whether A64's have a tendency to be a little too hot in SFFs? Should this be a concern or not? Also, in general I understand that SFFs have a tendency to run hotter than regular comps, but is this typically a real issue? Should I be okay with stock cooling, or should I expect to do a lot of modding and extra cooling to keep it running alright?

no, a64s are generally cooler than P4s and p4s sometimes have problems in SFFs but not often. Well maybe if you had a newcastle core then you might run into some problems, but a winchester or venice or san diego shouldnt give you any problems at all. its those damn early series prescotts that present problems
 
The San Diego's actually seem to run kind of hot. I know the temp sensor in my bios must be fubar, but I have heard others say the same thing.

But ya, A64's work fine in SFFs, especially the 90nm cores @ stock. Look around.
