A64 3800+ X2 OC Problem

Well I just picked up my new A64 3800+ X2 and I am not having such great luck overclocking. Everything seems all peachy until I fire up folding and try to run a game at the same time, system just reboots, Motherboard is Gigabyte K8NS Ultra 939, Ram is just generic PNY PC3200, I have set the ram Divider to 166, My HT was 3 is this correct? Should it be 4? Voltages on the cpu dont seem to matter, it is a Manchester JH-E6 Cpu. 550w Antec True power supply.

Any insight?

Have you ran Prime95 and Memtest86 for any extended periods of time?

yeah memtest runs from a floppy or a cd. Prime95 = winblows only. Memtest checks ram pretty extensively, and Prime95 kind of checks everything, though you can have it focus on ram more or cpu more. The two tests combined show if your hardware has errors. If memtest = errors, try relaxing your memory timings, or upping ram voltage. If it doesn't help, you might have bad ram.

Prime95 is indeed for windows, but there are several Prime factoring programs to stress out your cpu available on "Ultimate Boot CD"... just google it, I'm going to bed... have fun
