a64 3200+ newcastle overclock need help

the goods: a64 3200+ newcastle (11x200) msi k8n neo std. latest bios. kingston hyperx pc4000 ddr500 2sticks at 512mb each. stock cooling. pny 6800gt. 72gb raptor sata.sound blaster audigy 2. antec 430 watt true power. only stable overclock so far is 11x220.ive tried dropping the multipler and raising the buss(9x240),(8x250) etc etc. but no luck. im not a noob to overclocking. but this is my first a64 setup..... what am i doing wrong !!!!????please help before i bloody my forehead
 
first off: 2.4GHz is not too bad of an overclock, if i'm not mistaken - especially if you are on air. what cooling setup are you using? tried to raise the voltage a tad?
 
Some SATA connectors don't have a working PCI lock check the msi forums to find out which one's. This is most likely your problem.

- Try lowering the HTT multiplier to 3x
- Make sure spread spectrum is off
- Make sure dynamic overclocking is off
- If you overclock ram disable enchaned timmings or something like that

Which bios are you using? Some people seem to really like 1.52b and few other beta bios's for overclocking. In my case anything past bios 1.3 is worst for overclocking.

What volatage are you using?
