What OC results have you guys achieved with the A64 3000+ Newcastle? Please post your setup.

Most newcastles go up to around 2.6GHz max....more probable to reach somewhere around 2.5GHz.

I will be using this proc. along with a DFL Lanparty nforce3. Not sure about cooling but probably drop in a gig of Corsair XMS. Still shopping around for memory. Am probably looking in the 2.5-2.6ghz if im lucky.

2800+'s and 3000+s are hit and Miss..... there are still a LOT of crippled CO stepping clawhammers out there posing as Newcastles... I've got one.. 2800+ model... DOes 2.2-2.3 only....

Post your stepping codes.

seems like people are having better luck uniformly with Winchesters, the S754 DFI LanParty board is tempting, but maybe i should just go that route instead...

If your gonna go 754, then the best bet is the Mobile Clawhammer CPU's

the new 939 winchesters have been flakey as well though... I've got a good one (OK.. Great one.... ) but the 05's in particular havent been doing so well....

If you can find a 3000 or 3200+ Wichester with a 0441-0449 date code, your in great shape..... others are ???
