i have an A64 2800 Clawhammer, Chaintech VNF3 250 mobo, and 2x 512 Corsair DDR400 PC 3200. using the stock HSF, i have been able to run the CPU at 2205, but the system is unstable with the RAM clock at 166 - at 133 it's stable. the core temp under load is 59-61c - rather high

i have an S64 2500 Palermo that i've been able to run at 1.8GHz and it's cool and stable. that's a stable 30% increase vs. the unstable 22.5% increase on the A64.

looking for suggestions as i am new to both overclocking and the A64/754. i have read the FAQ but my BIOS does not have the settings it refers to and Clockgen seems to just lock my system.
