• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Hooked up a Cinema display once only quickly maybe 7months ago. As far as I can remember everything was fine. I'm almost sure I saw the BIOS screen. But, alas, I don't own a Cinema display. But I do have 1 2005fpw and 2 2405fpw's and love them to death.

Works fine for me. I can see POST, but that's a video card thing. The ACD is DVI only, so the video card has to support that. AFAIK, all the current gen cards (6xxx and 8xx) cards from NVIDIA and ATI work with BIOS POST and many previous gen cards.

As far as the Dell 2405, can't compare as I haven't seen the monitor. My 20" ACD is superior to the 5 2005s I had though, so if it's between those two and cost isn't a concern, get the ACD easily. The Dell 2405 is being reviewed better than the 2005 was, so don't presume the problems with the 2005 exist with the 2405. The 20" ACD costs as much as the 24" 2405. Even though the ACD will hold resale value better, you get more real estate with the 2405.
