Ohhh... and rescue two humans within 1 second. That seems the hardest for me :)

Very easy to pull off on the 3rd stage.
I think around the 3rd keepers cycle, 2 keepers will spawn at the same time, close to each other.
I've had 3 humans running around at that point a few times, get them close to the rescue pod, grab one, start shooting the other and juggle him in the air near the rescue pod. Catch him as soon as you rescue the one you were carrying and throw him into the rescue pod.

I figured the head phones/ear buds would be bad, surprised there is no volume control that's pretty stupid. Im about to look up a video on the party chat and see how good that is

What's everyone else's battery life like on the ds4? I get maybe 5 hours....

What headsets is everyone using? Does anyone know of a list of confirmed working headsets (preferably wireless)?

European store updated with PS4 contents so we can register those PS+ freebies even if we don't have PS4s.

I believe just about all normal headphones will work, just interested in a nice wireless headset with a mic. Really feel like Sony dropped the ball there. One article I just read set headset support will come with a firmware update in early - spring 2014. I guess I will most likely just have to wait.

No, lots of headsets already work after the 1.50 firmware update.

Though the A50's may be the only wireless one that I know of that works for the PS4 right now.

About the same. I have 2 controllers and a 10' usb cable that I use to charge them from an Iphone wall plug that's right behind my chair. It doesn't really bother me but the battery life sure sucks compared to the 25 hours or so I'd get from a DS3.

Does anyone have NBA 2k14 and can give me some damn tips? I suck so bad at this game and it's starting to piss me off. WHat do all the buttons do? I know square is to shoot, x is to change players, triangle is to jump/rebound and r2 is for sprinting.

There's an in-game tutorial. It walks you through everything.

So i plug my Turtle Beach headphone cord into the DS4 and it just doesnt work. The voice audio sounds like it wants to be piped through my headphones but it never does and I cant get the microphone to work. Anyone else having luck with other headsets?

For some reason I keep trying to download WarFrame but it says data corrupted. Sucks, I wanted to try it. I'm just a little past halfway done with Killzone, then I'll start BF4. I only get a few hours of play a week, but I'm enjoying it. Resogun is awesome for quick games. My kids stay up late on weekends playing Injustice, they love kicking the crap out of each other. Makes me want to get a couple of arcade sticks.

What plugs into the left port? I'm guessing it's for a headset but I haven't seen one with that connector.

Hold down the PS button at anytime.
Adjust devices. Volume Control.

Party chat is actually very well done IMO. I'm using the ASTRO A40's, and my brother uses a Triton 720.

Is it really? I guess that could make sense looking at those charging stands. Just seems redundant with micro USB too.

Yeah the separate DS4 controllers don't come with micro USB cables. It would've cost them like 2 cents.

The voice acting is terrible, story line pissed me off to no end. It's just not a very good game overall.

Its exactly what you expect Killzone to be , lots of pretty graphics , decent multiplayer and a joke story line that only an anime fan could adore.

Its still worth it though , lots of cool gameplay moments to be had and the MP is at least enjoyable.

But in 2 years time it'll be called back upon as another junky console launch game.

It's an expansion port.
Like for those handheld keyboard attachments on PS3. Nothing uses it at the moment.

I guess is it's a modified usb connector. You can charge off it. The charging base I bought uses it. However I wouldn't be surprised if has data capabilities as well. Easiest way to do that would be throw a usb connector on there. They probably opted for the modified connector for it to be more robust.

What charging base did you buy if you don't mind me asking?

i have the px5 and they put out a new cord that i have to buy since the ps4 slot is deeper than normal. Maybe this is why your having the issues

Yup. It's definitely powered.

And I just noticed something weird.
That screenshot, it has a little headphone icon in the middle of the expansion port and the HP jack. Making it look like one combined port.
But on my controller, the left port is clearly marked 'EXT' and the right port HP jack, has the HP icon over it. Kinda weird. Didn't know there was another version floating around...

Posting this here because it doesn't really deserve a new topic but someone might find it interesting. There was a presentation held by a Paul T. Robinson of SCE at the November 7 LLVM Developers' Meeting outlining their compiler and linker toolchain, which obviously then is built around LLVM but he talks about why they chose it and went with the Clang frontend and some other vagely interesting stuff if you're really into this. No earth-shattering revelations.

Video and slides at the link above.

Headphones are just bad with the controller I tried like 4 different good PC headsets.

Just going to use PC speakers they plug into the headphone jack on the controller and work good using the green cord.
