I'm concerned about the 2180. I'm not sure that's enough for 1080p playback. However, your desired HDTV would probably only be 720p, so I'd say that would be fine as long as you don't get a (rare) 1080p 32inch. That motherboard ND40oz linked is good, but I'd avoid onboard anything if you're going to be doing big screen gaming (beyond emulation)

Considering he specifically mentioned emu gaming and not Crysis level gaming makes me thing he doesn't care about Crysis level gaming and that onboard IGP would be more then enough.

Anyways, with a 9300 series board his 2180 would be fine. Mine is so I should have some idea if it'll work or not.

OP, good move on dropping the 610i; the chipset is terrible if you were going to use the IGP. One of the worst bases for an HTPC.
