• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

The new version of VMware Player, 3.0.1, will not power up using 8 cpus- Just out of curiosity I disabled hyper-threading to see how/if it affects my frame times...Will post when I have results.

Your frame times will jump.

3.0.0 is rumored to still be out there for download... you need to turn off updates.

Yeah- I just downloaded it out of habit of updating crap I don't need to update :D...I still have a version of 3.0 around here somewhere

Yeah, I've already mentioned this the other day in the bigadv thread but thanks for pointing it out again.

you can still download 3.0 from the VMWare site, or at least a few days ago you could. on the download page, you just look down a little farther and it's there
