well i came home for the weekend, told my parents it was because my brother was home and such... anyhoo after some donations from my old hs and some of our very own [H]ardfolders i was able to make quite a fleet this weekend ;)
ive added a bunch here, some in the farm in the basement, family pcs, and my 'room'

total is now...
aside from my rig @ college (2.8c p4@ 3.2 HT disabled)

3.0c p4@ 3.2, HT -thank Ch1m3r4 for the ram
2.8b p4@ 3.0
2 x 2.4 xeons @ 2.53, HT (4 clients)
2500+ @ 2.2 (3200+) -i forget who i got the mb from :x
2.0 p4
933mhz p3

soon to come:
2 x 1ghz p3 (waiting on hdd or linux skillz)
2 x 1.8 xeons (waiting on ps, hdd, ram, and for them to get here :p )
550mhz p3 (when i think its worth it)
400mhz p2 to monitor em all with em3

i just hope it will take a while for my dad to realize that 'saving on heating costs' may not be worth the power bill to him.
will also move some of them to my dorm when i can.

total points for today is already around 600, predicting over 1000 tomorow

one step towards taking back our #1 spot :cool:

Also, why do you disable HT? Just curious.

ht is disabled cuz i play games on it and games dont really like ht :(

-the ebay auction was the dual 1.8's ;)

I love the expression “win at ebay”. As a rule when you win, you don’t pay for it unless it’s a lottery ticket or poker game or the like.

Sorry, I know this belongs in the “Irony” thread, but I couldn’t resist. ;)

$200 isnt that bad for dual 1.8's plus a good tyan server board.. especially when half of it isnt your money ;)

I guess it means if you had the "winning bid" "you bought it" ;)

No clue on STFU myself. I’m sure someone will enlighten us :D

wow 16.393 GHz in one weekend...way to go!

and how do you set your comps up as central heating? i'm really curious about that...like maybe set them up in the basement and then duct the heat into the vent system?
 
you name it ive played it. well... probably.
some of the more common occurrences are cs, cs:source, bf1942(most versions), halo, and ut2k4 now and then. i usually stop playing after a little while when i realize how many cpu cycles im taking up :rolleyes:

-back on topc /kinda
-ive noticed a relatively large drop in fps when ht is enabled, sometimes making things a bit unplayable :(

Although not in the dictionary “shat” would appear to be the past tense of the S word we are not really supposed to use here. Some how “shitted” (I just shitted) just doesn’t seem to work in the past tense mode. Possibly it might work as an adjective though, as in “He shitted up the job”. Not smooth but workable. ;)
