The free version of this software is fairly popular.
Lately, I've become interested in the full version.
I've been using Avira for a couple years now and have been fairly happy with it. However, recently I did a virus clean out of a laptop for someone, and a-Squared caught a whole lot more stuff than Avira did. Including rootkits and tojans (not just spy/adware).
So I've downloaded the 30 day trial of the full version to check it out. Apparently it not only does normal malware guarding, but also has IDS features that constantly monitor programs for malicious behavior. This seems like a very excellent feature.
Does anyone have any long-term experience with the full version of this software.
I'm also disappoint to see it's not included in the AV-Comparative tests.
