A Sound Card Recommendation

I don't really know anything about sound cards, but let's basically say I want a sound card just for the sake of having one. Is there something trusted but under $50 to be paired with some x-230's for a very simple setup? Thanks.

Add a little more money so you can get your self a X-Fi X-Gamer. This will be a mice card for you and will sound worlds better then a Onboard. You can also look at the Audigy 2 or Audigy 4
