I've been asked by a company I used to work for, if I could look at the Raid configuration of one of their clients. It is using a HighPoint RocketRaid 2720 card, but one of the sas - sata cables was faulty, which has caused one disk in the array to be missing and another to be degraded; the other 4 disks are okay. The array is set to disabled.
Searching on the web, I have seen that there was a small piece of software from HighPoint called raidtool.exe, however the last reference to it is many years ago. I can't find a downloadable copy, and so was wondering if anyone had a copy of it still buried in their archived bits of utility software. Before deleting the array and recreating it, I was going to see if this might get the array back to critical, and from there try a recovery process.
Thanks for any help in advance
