Alright, I have a question for you guys.

I'm going to be building a new system within the next, week or so. Here are the stats:

- Intel Celeron - 2.6GHz
- Soyo Motherboard
- 768MB SDRAM
- GeForce FX5200
- 60GB SeaGate 7200RPM
- 20GB (dunno brand or RPM's)
I'm going to be using this machine as a learning device.. Learning how to OverClock, and Mod, shit like that.

Anyway, Here is my question. I'm going to be using the 60GB Seagate as the master drive. For the second drive, What do I do with it? Right now it's f*cked up, but I just need to format it.
- Do I load Windows onto it?
- Do I just FDisk it, then format?

Thanks for the responses ahead of time.

after you install windows on the 60gb, go to my computer and right click on the 20gb harddrive and format it from there and start using it. :D

2. FDisk it, then format.
What OS are you using?
There are also many alternatives other than FDISK. I use SPFdisk(short for SimPle FDISK). You can download it here. And good luck on your learning trip. ;)
For me learning is when something screws up on my comp and you don't know wtf is wrong.

Yeah, if you have seen any of my posts in the last few days, That has happened to me.. And yeah, I have learned a lot

I don't know if you want any advice about the rest of the system, but I'd like to make one comment. The Celeron 2.6 ghZ is $92 at newegg, and a new, retail AMD Athlon XP 2500+ processor is $80.

The 2500+ is going to be much faster than any Celeron processor. And by faster, I mean, like, a shocking difference between the two. Also, you said you were wanting to overclock, and most 2500+ CPUs will overclock to 3200+ speeds and beyond. Keep in mind there's more to think about than the CPU's clock speed.

AMD's own for low-end CPU's. Just my two cents :p
