A Script For Removing Multiple Devices?

I've been searching for a way to "safely remove hardware" for multiple devices. Every where I look it's said that you have to remove them 1 at a time. This seems to be true of both Xp and Wn 7. As this is the [H]ard-est forum around, I'd see if any of you gentlemen and ladies knew of a script that could be written and executed to remove all devices safely-simultaneously.
