How long can distilled water+ cooling agent last under room temperature?

Is there any reason why I should change them once in a while?

Do they affect my thermal conductivity?

Unless you have problems with growth or corrosion, a empty and flush every 6 months is good

yeeeeep.

I think one will have more problems with growth and stuff if the water is not running at all times.

It depends what you used as a "cooling agent." Most people will use a racing additive or antifreeze, which is toxic (and will kill microbials and "crawlies" in the loop). I'm not sure what you used, but if it is a growth inhibitor, you're fine. 6 months is typically how often i change it, although i've been known to go longer.

Again, if the water is moving constantly i think you have less to worry about.
