I'm going to be upgrading my computer soon, and right now I have a 520 2.8 processor. How much of a performance increase will I see with a 660?

A healthy one.Definetly worth it.

Secondly , if you have a decent board with minimal OC options you can select a 14x multiplier ( has a 14-18x option ) and a 266Mhz FSB and you'll basically have a 3.73Ghz EE chip.
If you're lucky you can try 15x266 , a 4Ghz EE.
