I am about to start on my acrilic case and I want to know how much heat can acrilic take?

I plan on building the case on an aluminum base, with acrilic on all sides and at the top, but bottom will be aluminum. I was thinking of putting the HD on one of the sides because of my design, but I am not sure how much heat a HD generated and acrilic can take before melting or something :p

The acrilic will be 4-5mm thick.

Acrylic can handle any heat a computer makes, as long as the CPU die isnt directly touching the case :p

Ok then, I'll mount the HD on one of the walls :D

Now I have to see how to fit my watercooling setup in there if I decide to go that way :D
