I've just recently purchased this HSF to go with a Q6600 and I have one question about it.
The retention bracket that goes on the bottom of the motherboard, is it advisable (doable) to leave the non-adhesive sticker on and then mount the HSF? Or will I have to carefully take off the sheet covering the adhesive to mount it? I only ask because the last thing I want to do is a) pull the adhesive off and b) cause a shortage rendering my motherboard and potentially other pieces useless.
